Vaucluse Lighthouse Keepers Cottage gives buyers rare chance to own part of Sydney coastline

Here’s another sign of optimism in the Sydney market: the son of one of China’s wealthiest people, “Jeremy” Jianmin Song, has listed the Vaucluse Lighthouse Keepers Cottage for even more money than he bought it for in 2016.

CBRE’s Robert Alfeldi is quoting a range of $8 million to $8.5 million for the iconic Sydney landmark on more than 2600 sqm of oceanfront land at 181 Old South Head Rd.

CoreLogic shows Mr Song, the son of Nanshan Group founder Zuowen Song, had paid $7.5 million for the property in October 2016.
